I’ll admit, when I planned my trip to the Canadian Rockies in mid-October I was hoping for gorgeous colorful leaves and pumpkin spice vibes. What I got was a full on winter wonderland! Although I was disappointed that a number of things I wanted to see and do were already closed for the season (more on that later), I consider myself lucky to have seen the Rockies in their gorgeous winter glory – and with far less crowds than if I had gone during the peak summer months. I ended up having many of the stunning lakes and waterfalls all to myself! Here are just a few photos of the incredible beauty that stole my heart. I hope they steal yours and convince you that a wintertime trip to the Canadian Rockies should be on your bucket list!
Have you been to the Canadian Rockies? When is your favorite time to experience it?
