14 photos that will make you want to travel to the Canadian Rockies in low season!

I’ll admit, when I planned my trip to the Canadian Rockies in mid-October I was hoping for gorgeous colorful leaves and pumpkin spice vibes. What I got was a full on winter wonderland! Although I was disappointed that a number of things I wanted to see and do were already closed for the season (more on that later), I consider myself lucky to have seen the Rockies in their gorgeous winter glory – and with far less crowds than if I had gone during the peak summer months. I ended up having many of the stunning lakes and waterfalls all to myself! Here are just a few photos of the incredible beauty that stole my heart. I hope they steal yours and convince you that a wintertime trip to the Canadian Rockies should be on your bucket list!

  3. As someone living in Scandinavia, I am in love with the Northern Nature. Canada reminds me of that so much! So far, I have only been to BC, but wanna see more.

  5. My husband has been bugging me for so long to go on a trip in the Canadian Rockies. I am seriously afraid to show him your photos as I know that his words will be “See?! I told you it’s amazing!” 🙂 And yes, your photos make one want to jump on a plane and head to the Rockies. I hope we will one day get there and admire the views in person! thanks

  7. What beautiful photos of the Canadian Rockies! The weather turns from fall to winter quickly. But I love traveling during low season and avoiding all the crowds too. You’ve captured so many beautiful shots that I really must try to visit!

  8. I must admit that we have always been to the Rockies in the summer. So it was enchanting to see the views with snow. Although I am sure it would have been equally stunning with fall colours. Looking through your pictures reminds me that there are still many places we have not visited. One day! (LD Holland)
